You'll have to catch them in the conf. championship again!
My prediction (an easy one): Schlick rockets to the top 25 quickly, after wins over 3 top 25 teams to start the season. I, on the other hand, will take until week 11... cuz by the time I play Cincy they won't be ranked. Ohio State will be brutal, but that game could really help me late in the season. Watch my new RB get hurt before the game, and me have tons of recruits coming...
A temporary setback. You guys will have good years this year in recruiting. I think i'm gonna struggle with it. At least that's the way it happened in Schlick & I's CUSA dynasty.
EMU begins its journey to the BCS Championship....
.....details below. 2 of my 4 recruits are already paying dividends. I'd like to post a video but for whatever reason it doesnt show up on the webs so i'll describe instead....
my franchise, my 5* recruit Joey Holbert recovered a fumble on Michigan's first possession and returned it for a TD, he's already made the ring of fame! Michigan tied it up on the next drive 7-7. I went on a long drive (where i once again lost my starting RB to injury for the game) and scored with my other new recruit, Lance Rutledge with about 8 seconds remaining in the half to go up 14-7 heading into the locker room......until horror ensues! Michigan returned the freaking kickoff on me! unbelievable.....they hilariously miss the XP so i still lead 14-13, but Michigan gets the ball to open the 2nd half. I hold them to 3 and out on the opening drive and score on my first drive. i'm up 20-13 and decided to go for 2 to make it a 2 score difference if good. i make it and go up 22-13. Michigan goes on another long drive but has to settle for a field goal with about 4:30 left in the 4th, 22-16. One false move, one fatal turnover and i know this game is over. I start what i hope is my final drive to ice this game and my backup RB gets injured on the first play. So i'm now using my back-ups backup to try and end this game. Who knew, but the dude is just fine, we drive down and score again and make the 2 pointer again to end the game at 30-16.
I was actually a little nervous about this game since we lost to MSU last season, but my team handled themselves well. I'm still concerned about my speed on defense and my rb's seem to be injury prone. One of my receivers lost a fumble on my first drive and i also threw a pick, so i had my share of harrowing moments, but alas, the journey begins!
WKU's freshman triplets... #5 QB Clark Randall, #2 HB Hootie Dude, and #8 WR Joaquin "Speedy" Gonzalez combined for an overwhelming display against an outclassed Baylor defense. "After that," quipped Baylor senior defensive back Jordan Lake, "We're ready for some easier opponents... like Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri and the rest of the schmucks in the Big 12..."
Randall threw for a school record 498 pass yards and several TD's. Dude clicked on several nice runs. This simple run off-tackle lef the Baylor defense gasping for air.
The third member of the WKU Triplets, freshman Joaquin Gonzalez (nicknamed "Speedy" or "Ju" by his teammates), simply ran by defenders for serious gains.
WKU won the game 77-16 or some similarly ridiculous score. After the game, the WKU Boosters lifted Coach Quo on their shoulders and carried him across the WKU campus, while throngs of onlookers bowed down low. Expectations in Bowling Green are quite high...
Recruits, to this point, do not share the enthusiasm of the home crowd.
The score was 14-14 at the half thanks to a USC KO return for a TD and a pick 5. SJSU was not commanding, but certainly not gripping either. The Spartans led by 7 at a time and left USC with no time to drive from their own 2. A solid victory to start the season and get the attention of the pollsters who certainly remember Teh Spartans miracle Orange Bowl comeback and #2 finish.
Will it be enough for SJSU to jump into the top 25? Doubtful. One game at a time, fellas.
On another note, I have two standout recruits, Chicken Fried Bacon and Hero Eggs starting at FS and SS. The others will have to prove themselves on the practice field.

Just played my Air Force vs #3 South Carolina game and I'd like to thank Quo and Snake for talking me through a difficult first half where it was tied 24-24. I went on to win pretty big (41-27?) and the good news is that I knocked out his QB for 9 weeks, so basically we all get to move up in the rankings!
I did have one highlight I wanted to post, not a great play, but it is an option out of the flexbones formation where my slow-azz QB rumbles 43 yards for a TD. But if you notice about halfway through the play the South Carolina safety runs across the field to take out the pitch guy, but runs right past the QB to get him. Awesome!
I hate LSU. Once again, we battled them to a very close game, and once again the mighty Green Wave (the athetlic department is still ignoring my requests for a mascot change) come up short. The new recruits didn't see too much time, but my first team All-American TE (how the hell did that happen?) had a decent game. On a good note, my recuriting board is full of 4 and 5* recruits, with a pinch of 3*s for flavor.
I think the problem is that I've been trying to finish up my campus legend career as the QB at ASU, and I can make any throw, on the run, through the smallest of gaps. I can't seem to make that happen with my Tulane QB...
