Hell yes! The QB has even gotten some Heisman talk. I played a game last night against LSU (which apparently has a rivalry with Tulane) and I was amazed at how slow Tulane's players are. The "star" running back got run down from behind by the LSU defensive tackle on a screen. Brutal.

I updated my recruiting. How are you guys doing? I like my class so far, but I'm expecting some serious setbacks with some guys... the competition's tough, from much better schools. I see several of you guys in the top 10's of some pretty good recruits...!

my recruiting is pluggin along, i'm #1 on the lists of the top 2 DE's so we'll see if they pan out, other than that not much on the horizon. The #2 RB did bump me up to #2 on his list but i dont anticipate anything coming of that

I just beat the Ball St. Ballz but it wasnt easy. I was down 21-14 at the half thanks to a couple of untimely INT's but i ended up winning 38-28. the D showed up in the 2nd half. Terrence Blevins went over 200 yards rushing on 40-some carries and my QB was 20 of 24. too bad 2 of the incompletions were picks lol

On Wise, I'm neck and neck with TAMU. They had a horrible game during his visit, getting TROUNCED during a rivalry game by more than 3 TD's. He visits me in Week 12... but he visits Florida this week. They haven't offered him a scholy. If they do, he's likely to let them pass me and go to soft on UF. I've seen it happen before. I feel like I should prep with vaseline...

Thompson looks good... really good. I'm hoping he's soft next week. It'd make my recruiting season to get him in the bag.

I'm hanging by a thread with Rodriguez. He's not formally soft on OSU, but it would be a major upset now if I got him. Kinda strange, cuz I don't think he's really all that good.

Garner would be a bonus... I kinda doubt I get him. He seems to like Pitt and I can't make up ground. I did sway him finally this week on a key differencemaker, hopefully that makes a difference.

Young is in the bag for all practical purposes. His meter is full and no one's even close. He's only a 3* and I think he's a ratings sleeper and should play better than a C+ overall. His MC and ZC ratings are pretty decent. His only negative appears to be his B+ speed. Should be a decent corner, certainly by his Junior year. Better than I have now, anyway...

I have some others that are also looking good but they are very slow developers. I'll have to build a good base before the offseason and do some serious promise-making...

Let's keep this thing moving! Only 5 weeks to go until conf champ week and the bowls!

That's exactly why I'm only listing the guys that I have a substantial lead over my human opponents in... I have others whose bars aren't very full that I'm in the top 5 on. But I'm certainly not gonna tell you who they are! Schlick's already trying to snipe Thompson from me, and he has gained ground. I've got a good margin on him, but there are no guarantees...

I deleted Wise and, I think, Thompson from my list last night. They wouldn't buy my promise that they'd win the Heisman.

Sorry guys, had some router issues. We're all set to advance. I could have kicked a field goal to go up by 5, but I went for the first down to run down the clock instead. Ended up losing 10-9. Ugh.
