cccccchhhhhhiiiiiillllll.
Its all good though. If you think it'll be a problem for you and want to avoid it, by all means, step out before it starts rather than in the middle. No hard feelings.

No hard feelings. | I dropped out, I may have acted to quickly , but oh well. I was in two other leagues when I joined this one. Both of them were supposed to be sim leagues but quickly turned into anything goes type of leagues so the frustration level was high for me. When I read that some people here were fine with an anything goes type of gameplay I dropped. I just didn't want another league where I spend my gaming time chasing scrambling QB's all over the field and combating cheese. I'd be willing to join back up and see how it goes but the only way I can do that is if the league admin sends an invite. If not I'll wait until season two starts.

Are we also still waiting on BMC to get internetz back as well?
I was thinking the CFL was on hold until we could get Deputy and BMC back on Live?

I think I have a general idea of what cheesing is, and I would never do it intentionally, but I have a feeling I'd do it to you a lot, unintentionally.
Good luck in your other leagues.

Good luck in your other leagues. | Playing "Sim" Football is just playing like they do on Sunday in the NFL. Punt on 4th and long, Kick a field goal on 4th and long if you are in field goal range. Don't go for two after every TD. Aslo playing "Sim" is not taking advantage of known exploits or glitches in the game. For instance you can scramble way to the left or right with the QB until the A.I. pulls of the coverage and leaves the WR''s wide open. Moving the DE way out to the left or right to get in for a cheap sack. using the WR direct snap glitch. Stuff like that is what I try to avoid when I join a league. In both my other leagues these things became and issue. I am no longer in those leagues.

Join Date: Nov 2007 Location: NJ Age: 28 | All i know is we are doing this league thru this site to avoid cheese of the general gamers. So any suspicion that any of us will intentionally play that way should be checked at the door IMO. If you don't trust the guys in this league to play responsibly enough in a sim manner then you probably shouldn't join this league.
Again, theres no set rules, its just a general understanding that we are all straight up gamers and will play in a sim-like manner. I can't speak for the CFL guys, since they are beginners you'll likely to see some stranger plays and situations occur in that league. NFL league, not so much.
I just know as someone who will participate in this league i'd hate to see you join in just to quit out because someone did 1 play that you didn't think was sim.
If you are really this concerned about it, have you tried to play anyone in the league yet in a regular non league game? What better way to see how those in the league will play than sending them a message and inviting them to a game of madden for fun to feel their style of play out?

We avoid all that stuff here at PGL. Most of us don't even know how to glitch. We despise it and avoid it at all costs.
