Ohiopro sent me this question to an admin on the EA Forums reguarding off-season...

Question:
It appears that players leaving isn't working properly in my online dynasty. We have completed 2 years and both years members were able to talk people into staying but when we advanced those players were gone. Are we doing something wrong or is this a bug?

Answer:
This may simply be a bug in the game. We will look into this eventually, but at the moment we are focusing on issues that prevent people from actually playing their Dynasties. I apologize for this.

Uh....what? That's it? I guess none of us will have to worry about keeping juniors that want to go pro, they are as good as gone. I'm going to post this up in the other dynasty threads as well.

I recruited and then played a pitiful defensive game last night vs. Central Michigan that should have me up to date. Let me know Snake if you're not seeing it. That has happened in another league, and if so I'll probably have to play it again. :P

there's at least 2 dudes that had bye weeks so that made a difference. i might even roll it tomorrow night if everyone gets their recruiting in

looks like we got some good matchups for 6 teams who are playing head to head. Looks like me and Schlick escaped it for now. Can we get our games in by Thursday night? I played mine and got my recruiting done last night. Sparty is 5-0 with another narrow victory!

i forget who it is i play, but whoever it is let me know when you want to play. I usually get home from work about 7-8pm, and i'm online for a while each night. I should be on tonight if you want to play our game. I'll look for you and send you a message on xbl and check.

i've done a few different dynasties now and i've come across a recruiting first: i had a player commit right when i offered a scholarship! i had only unlocked a few tasks and bingo, that was good enuff. I cant remember offhand what position or how many stars he was but he was at least a 4-star. i'll confirm tonight and post it up, that was cool tho, wonder what the secret was to that

Nice! I had that happen to me in another online dynasty I'm running. It surprised me so much that I hardly believed it. Mine was only a 3-star though. That's awesome getting a 4-star like that, it's like a free lunch. He'll be a bonafide starter, especially if you're able to redshirt him. Coolness...
