Hey fellas... giving you your own sticky for your conference, as we are going to have more than one of these leagues. I would've stuck the original thread, but I didn't want to change the name of the original thread and confuse everyone. Instead, I'll link to this thread from the old one. This one will always be at the top of the forums so you can access it.
Now, I'd like to get this started properly. SeahawksTD4, a.k.a. the Akron Zips are ducking me, the Ball St. Cardinals. Shame on you Zips, fulfill your destiny by getting smashed by the mighty Cardinals!

What a great game last night with Kaz. Close game through and through. Started out 14-0 for the eagles and then was tied at 17 all by halftime. Back and forth in the second half with the eagles scoring with 2 minutes left leading 31-24. Way to much time for the eagles swiss cheese defense to slow down the offense and they scored tieing it up 31-31 with 40 seconds left.
After the kickoff, the eagles put together a qucik little drive down to the huskies 25 yard line which allowed them to kick a field goal as time expired winning 34-31. Too much fun. Thanks again for a great game last night, and Im sure that you will get your revenge someday very soon!
The more I think back to this game the more I know Kamacauzie got robbed.
Fast forward to the 4th quarter where NIU had just taken a 21-20 lead, thanks to a heroic 3rd quarter comeback from being down 7-20. Ball St has the ball and puts together a little drive and is in NIU territory when the backup QB (I just realized this when I looked at the stats), threw a pick that Kama ran back for a TD and the 28-20 lead.
I'm already giving the man his props for a great rally when Ball St scores on the next play. Down by two Ball St is forced to go for 2 and they get it tieing the game up at 28.
With about two-and-a-half minutes left in the game, NIU is driving and on about the Ball St 30 when the QB takes a sack and the ball pops out late. Ball St recovers and returns it about 30 yards. Kama tried to challenge the call but the option didn't come up (the ball came out really late). Ball St. goes nowhere and lines up for the 56-yard FG.
Kamacauzie drives back down the field again, and finds himself back in Ball St. territory when his QB takes another sack. Again, the ball pops out. Ball St recovers. Trying to pick up one first down and then kick the FG, NIU stops Ball St on 3rd-and-2 setting up a FG and the Ball St 31-28 lead.
NIU, with no timeouts and about 50 seconds left in the game, begins another herioc march down the field. With about 14 seconds left NIU hits on a pretty long play and Kama immediately brings out the FG team for a 42-yard attempt to send it in to OT.
How does that happen? No wind at all to speak of, then a gust on the kick, and it hits the freakin' upright!!
Ball St steals a win, 31-28.
Great game Kama, and you sure were a good sport about getting robbed in the 4th like you did. Heck, the guy suffered a near concussion during the game!

We are currently in week 12 of season 1, but we will be looking for a few owners for season 2.
We have 10 owners in our MAC league, but two will be dropping out after the season (Twotimes and KAZ due to school and too many madden leagues).
Open teams will be Northern Illinois, Miami(OH), Ohio U, Eastern Michigan and Western Michigan. We might also have Navy if someone is kicked out of the MAC and Navy takes over. (This has happened a few times when I simmed the rest of the season, (Buffalo was kicked out once).
If this happens the owner will keep his original team but still have half of his games vs. MAC teams.(but we will deal with that if it happens).
Good Game Sam. I think I needed the EA rewind for those red zone INTs. After some of the incredible picks made by Sam Almighty's Cardinals, I am expecting better things against Toledo.
