In other words, everyone would have to make a deposit, then pay a fee to play, like $5 entry +$0.50 to the house. The down side would be paying $0.50 for each tourney. The up side would be that players would actually win the money. Top three or four would finish in the money, I think.
I don't care what we do. It's pretty amazingly lame that no one's come up with a decent poker game.

| all i know is this game has some tweaked out problems, and its irritating. Last time i skipped a fat event to play and got knocked out the game after 3 hands. Its almost like playing catan...80% chance of disconnecting. | |

works for me, but the next obvious question is, how do we divide the rooms? who goes where?

Two designated people start rooms (like Supa and Snake), and as soon as someone jumps on, they both send that person an invite. Every time someone signs on who's playing in the tournament, Supa and Snake both send that person an invite. All people have to do is randomly accept one of the invitations (it's not like they're going to know who is in what room), and they'll fill up randomly. If one room has more than the other, then a few can migrate over to the unfilled room.

It would kinda suck losing a chip lead, but it would be more satisfying overall...plus chat would hopefully stay connected the whole time. We'd have to monitor how many were left at each table at all times.

Join Date: Dec 2007 Location: Atlanta, GA Age: 32 | I saw we just take the top two or three winners from each table based on how many showed up for the night. Then we can calcuate winnings based on that.
So say we have 16 people and 8 per a table. Then lets have the 1st place winners at both tables split what the 1st place winner would have before. Then we can do the same for the 2nd and 3rd place also.
For the final week we can get the top 8 players in a room to see who takes it all?
Of course all these depends on if we have no issues with just 8 per a table/room. If this works with no issues we can hammer out the payout details more.
