PGL NBA2k Preseason Tourney

Rather than debating it, I just set up the preseason Tourney to try out the website.

You can join online once you've linked your gamertag (it's easy). Go here and sign up.

Tourney Name: PGL Preseason
Password: pglnba2k8

It's set to a 4-day interval, with each series being best 2 out of 3. First 8 teams to join up get to play (it was either 8 or 16, so i picked 8 so we can get started. Games are set with 7 minute quarters so we can try that out as well.

i cant get in, it sez "invaild title" when i click on the tournament header or my tournaments

I tried to go on the website but its only shwing for 2k7 i cant find 2k8 ** i also just picked up the game and have been playing a season with the suns..im only 2-4 ..I do good in the 1st quarter but then its like the computer hits everything at least it seems to do it with me .. But suns defense is rated 79 so that probley has something to do with it..Im definitly going to have to play more games to get used to what works good.. The good thing about online is that your fatigue didnt go down as much .. so not sure if that would be the same when we play. And im also 0-1 online ..

go to 2K Sports - Upgrade Your Browser, click on "games and pull down to NBA 2k8.

when the page loads, click on "Online Leagues". You can then click on Xbox360. It'll ask for you to sign in like you do on xbox.com (using your passport). After that, select Leagues and pull down to Join League. Form there I'm not sure but you should be able to search for it. The name and password are above.

Snake joined up so I know it's working. he may know how to find the league if it doesn't show up in search. I'll also look for ways to invite people.

once you get to the search page, make sure you plug in the criteria, i.e.- 8 teams, private league, then league name. next page should ask you for a password

ok, the deal appears to be that I can only invite people after they've linked their GT to NBA2k's website. So let me know if you are linked up and I'll toss an invite.

sweet. how'd you do it? causedawg is still having trouble, and when i search using the parameters snake said to use i come up empty handed. Cause can find the tourney bu tthere's no button to join. I sent invites, but they don't appear to have had any effect.

after i signed in, i clicked on tournaments and i searched the tourney name and i picked the team and rite under there i put the password in, and rite under there its a button that'll say "join tournament" or "join league", depending on what ya sign up for ya know, and im in

sometimes 2ksports.com be acting up, i saw that first link u put up, like rite after u sign out it'll take u to nothin but 2k7 games soo if u sign back in, if u in any 2k8 leagues tourneys or whatever, it'll be gone, u gotta just go str8 to 2ksports.com and hit online leagues or whatever and they should be there and everything should work out, hope this helps
