Playing out the rest our games is ok with me. Can we now play our games our of order if we can hook up with an opponent?
Done Deal!
Ok, I am making it official (by writing it in bold print), play all of you games as soon as you (reasonably) can, and let's wrap this season up.
So post your results in this forum, along with what week the game was, and at the end of the season we'll do a coaches poll to see the bowl game matchups.
JSB and myself finally got our game in today. It was a BIG 12 battle between the horns and the huskers in Austin. Comment of the day was JSB saying that " Well, at least this game isnt like madden where there is an interception every pass play". That was soon followed by 4 interceptions by nebraska along with 2 from McCoy and a costly fumble.
Neck and neck game the whole way until the UT kicker missed one from about 20 yards to take the lead with about 3 minutes left in the fourth. Think that it might have had something to do with a Ricky Williams sighting on the side line looking to "score".
Anyways, it was a fun game and JSB is a good guy, love to get in another game sometime with you man.
Final score
Nebraska 21
UT 14

In what started out as an ugly game turned into quite the thriller. The first half looked more like a Punt, Pass, and Kick competition without the pass as USC took a 6-3 lead going into halftime
The second half starts with an INT thrown by Nebraska and on the next play USC scored on this play:
GoBlue52 said, "Nice job", to which I correctly replied, "Hey, I just threw the ball, and I threw it horribly."
Nebraska throws another pick and then USC boots a 53-yard FG (what? no achievement for that?) after a glorious 4-play-1-yard drive.
So, USC is feeling pretty good up 16-3 in the third and then the Cornhuskers come storming back. Nebraska puts together a long TD drive that was saved on this 4th down play:
USC drives downfield to try and put this away but throws a terrible INT and Nebraska, now down 10-16, is looking to take the lead as they get inside the red zone.
Pick Six for 100 yards.
Completely turns the game from Nebraska in front 17-16 to USC pulling away at 23-10. Nebraska and USC trade TDs late in the fourth to make the final score 30-17.
Good game GoBlue52! Let's play again sometime! The game kinda crashed after I uploaded the highlights so I couldn't grab any stats.
Great game, love how you put the highlights in there, or should I say lowlights for me. Too bad you didnt get footage of the wonderful QB scramble being chased by a slightly more fleet of foot defensive tackle. Seemed as if that play lasted FOREVER!!!! Too funny.
Once again, another great gaming experience with PGL'ers.
Thanks!
In the 309th match-up between SeahawksTD4 and Lord Sam in NCAA was the week 12 matchup of USC and Florida St.
USC got the opening kick and drove down for a TD. Florida St followed that up with a 3-and-out. USC nearly capitalized on the next drive but fumbled it away.
The rest of the first half was pretty uneventful, exxcept for fumble by Florida St. You know SeahawksTD4 is famous for his nonsense option pitches, you know well after the QB is down. Well the Florida St. QB was down then pitched it, but it was a fumble. USC recovers and justice never tasted sweeter.
Then the game froze with :52 seconds left in the 2nd. SeahawksTD4 thinks he would have driven the length of the field. I told him he was crazy.
So we restart to play the 2nd half. You could tell it was not going to be Florida St's game on the first play when his starting HB got knocked out for the season. On Florida St's next possession he loses his QB for the game.
Florida St's backup QB throws a pick-six and then a long 80-yard TD pass on the next play. Then he gets injured for 6 weeks. With the score USC 14, FLorida St. 7 the Seminols D holds USC to punt with 2 minutes left.
Another Florida St pick leads to a short TD run for USC, making the final score USC 21, Florida St. 7
No highlights as we los tthe best plays from the 1st game. Oh well, good game SeahawksTD4! I'll see you for game #310!
In a game without a punt, the Mountaineers' offense outclassed that of the Ducks by scoring on every possession but one. I have no write up or highlights, but hopefully OohChit will.
Oregon stats:
In the half that QB Dixon played (he bruised his vagina at the first of the 3rd Quarter, leaving his teammates to finish the game to make it a perfect 7 out of 7 games that he couldn't play every snap), he amassed:
Passing - 7 of 8 for 265 yards and 3TD's, 1 INT
Running - 5 runs for 4 yards.
...to make it a perfect 7 out of 7 games that he couldn't play every snap),
Soooooo ridiculous to be saddled with a player that EA has deemed unable to finish a single game. That's as bad as the interception thing. I bet Oregon fans are pissed...
Nice statline with him, regardless... huge play offense! 7 of 8 for 265? wow...
