But, I've got so much going on with work, I can't even describe it. It's lots of really good things, so I can't complain, but sleep would be nice.
Anyways....I have NO idea when my life is going to slow down. If you guys want to kick my arse out, I totally understand. I just don't know when I can play games...even though I'd really love to.

No worries, we'll keep you around for sentimental reasons I guess.

Well, okay. Hopefully things will calm down in the next couple of weeks, and I'll get some time to play some make up games.

| | On the Dance Floor | Ooooover Raaaaated Ducks leave Columbus with Big Horseshoe prints on their asses! #6 Oregon 7 #10 The Ohio State University 16
The Bucks had a great defensive gameplan. This game was last week, or maybe the week before, so I don't remember much about the game except the halftime lead of 2-0 (?) I think OSU made great use of their tight ends, which were often left totally off of Oregon's coverage package. A long TD in the 3rd quarter came off a screen to the left side of the field. Funny thing is, the QB didn't dump the ball to the screened player. The TE was so wide open (I assume OhioPro was shocked but happy to see this) that the QB lobbed it over the line for a lumbering TD to go up 9-0. By this time, Schlick was so dumbfounded and panicked by repeated sacking that the only option was to heave it down the middle a couple of times. Blind luck worked (and maybe a blessing or two by great offensive personnel--assuredly not the coach) and the Ducks scored on an 80+ yard pass. OhioPro sweater-vested his team down the field for the kill in the 4th, using up much of the clock and making the final tally 16-7.
It was a fun game, OhioPro. I should have asked for a rematch and another waxing and just stayed up all night with the Xbox, because my wife gave me the cold shoulder for trying to beat Ohio State. It didn't matter that I lost in the attempt! (At least those Texas/Ohio State matches are over. You should have seen us fighting in the stands in Austin! Maybe I'll post a picture.) And I'll think of you when I'm sitting there with her, watching Ohio State in their third consecutive national championship game come January. I have zero doubt that they'll be there again this year!
Note to other coaches: If you find something that works against me, keep doing it! I don't want to bother with changing my fantastic game plan.

Just gotta catch BMC late late late at night and hope he falls asleep again... lol
btw - to the voters: YOU ALL SUCK!!! We have the #12 ranked Offense and the #12 ranked Defense! We're 0-5, but who have we played - currently ranked:
#1 Michigan
#2 Florida State
#3 Louisville
#4 West Virginia
#10 Ohio State
Holding our own in each of those games!! Yet we're still ranked #15!
If and when we beat LSU this week, I better see some votes for South Florida!! Hell, we'll be ecstatic w/ a #12 ranking - happy w/ a #13 - and at least satisfied w/ a #14!! Just get us outta the freakin cellar will ya??!!

Yeah man - let's try to do it... I'll try to make sure I'm around Sat. I'm expecting to be on tonight too. I'm East Coast though - so - if we can, sometime before midnight on either night.

Then on Sat - I played GTA from like 6:30 til about 9:30 - just killing some time hoping to get some MP in. Not sure what happened, but man - I had the WORST freakin headache I've had in a LONG time. Finally had to just shut the box off and go lay down.
Maybe I did too much drinkin (in the game) and the shaking screen jakked my eyes all up!! Seriously - it was bad.
Anyway - we'll try to knock it out this week - I'll keep an eye out for ya...
Oh - and Practice??? You're actually gonna practice before our game?? That's like.. cheating... lol

I suck. Kama's good.
Everything that could possibly go wrong went wrong for me int this game. Oh well. Kinda tired of it, but whatever. As great as Tebow evidently is in real life, I can't adapt to a playing style that suits his EA persona. He's slow, can't throw on the run (or honestly, standing still) and can't pitch once he's hit or near hit. I give. I joked with Bobby that of the 40 points I lost by, 30 were because Bobby's that much better, but 10 were me getting screwed. He laughed and said he'd sign off on that. Honestly though, it was a little worse than that. I'd stack the line on the left and blitz 2 LB's on the gaps on that side... he'd run straight into it and get 8 yards. Whatever. For me it takes a LOT of fun out of the game when you play the right defense and still get burned.
I suck. | |

It was bad, thats for sure. The game definitely was momentum controlled. One or two plays early my way and the computer certainly let me cruise. It's always fun though Quo....good times....lol.

| | PGL Community Vendor | Big thanks to Schlickabod, OhioPro, Quo, and Kamakauzie for getting their week 6 games done, wahoo!
Now, the rest of you clowns.....
Seriously, we need a kick start to this NCAA season so we can finish before '09 comes out Any ideas? I had one idea of just playing out the rest of our games, and not doing them week by week with the voting, just to get the season done. Then we'll do a coaches poll to see where everyone is, then schedule our bowl games.
What do you think? Any better ideas?
