Join Date: Jun 2007 Location: Kelowna, BC, Canada, Age: 15 | well, not really, you see, i drew that picture in pencil using some old school halo 1 art for reference (stencil's are for fags, so don't go accusing me of that) then, i scanned it in, and use the "cutout" filter in photoshop, along with some self taught shading techniques.
because the original legs were distorted, and the controller i drew in looked gay, i reconstructed the legs using the pen tool, and merged that down, then i took out the hands/controller, and replaced them with images from google, (the controller, and the guantlet plating for instance) reconstructing the fingers, and the fore-arm to look more realistic, then i did the "cut-out" effect again, and added a PGL logo that i made from layers found in the famed PGL couch.
so umm, i would have to say no on the stealing of the kick-ass art, because it was only inspired by it... and i put my soul into this image, so you can't say it's entirely someone elses... or i'll eat you!

i never finished the legs, so i just cut off the bottom of the couch in some of the other pics i made... | |

the majority of the PGL population meets that requirement, being everyone i've talk to so far, don't know too much bout those i don't know...
anyway, i'd personally like to see someone defile my work, (seriously, go ahead) it's always funny to see what people can come up with given enough time and immaturity...
