Create PGL Swag!

Dom mentioned that he and his buddies might be interested in creating some designs for shirts, etc. Considering what a great and diverse community we have here I'm sure we have some budding and accomplished designers. As we receive entries I'll post the worthy ones up in a separate part of the store called "Member Designs" for everyone's perusal and purchase. Here's what you need to know:

1. Information about preparing images for cafepress can be found HERE.

2. Templates for cafepress products can be found HERE.

3. Once you submit a design it will be reviewed by the editors and if acceptable will be placed onto products and featured in the Member Designs section of the PGL store.

4. Once you submit a design you agree to release any rights associated with the design and understand that you will not be entitled to any compensation for creation of the design or based on subsequent sales. (gotta get the legal stuff out of the way unfortunately).

5. You may submit a design by emailing it to my peench/pregamelobby email address. I don't want to post it to avoid spam bots picking it up, but if that doesn't make sense to you, PM me and I'll give it to you.

This is a great way to put your creative talents to the test and support PGL at the same time. Funds generated will go back into PGL for upgrades, expansion, etc. Thanks everyone, can't wait to see the designs.

well, i've got some good ideas, and winning a 120 gig drive would be sweet, but me being a broke, 14 year old who doesn't like to dish out money like a cash register, i oppose the five dollar fee.

while i think it's good for those willing to do that, (the money has to come from somewhere) you really can't put a price on creativity.

another idea, is open the contest for free (reputation being the prize) but allow people to do the fee to be eligible to win the prize

anyway, i'll definantly come up with something...

This always reminds me of that old skit they had on "In Living Color" where they Jamaican guys would harass people with comments like "You only got one job mon..." That had to have been one of the best skits on that show.

All comments, suggestions and whatnot are welcome. We never know what we're going to do from one contest to the next. Some work out well, others don't. Because of that I'm always interested in hearing other ideas. So keep em coming!

and i was only speculating on your suggestion, not clarifying it...

i already have a job..., and before that, i did unnoficial jobs for my neighbors, freinds etc. such as moving, landscaping, building furniture/gun racks, building patios, etc.

as well, i never had an allowance, (my mom's cheap, just like me, maybe it's genetics)

while you may throw any random $5 towards every contest you see, i horde my money, and buy other stuff. (how do you think i got a pc? an xbox? a 360? cletes/rugby stuff? my mum never woulda bought that stuff for me...)

anyway, my original point was that despite there (theoretically, not literally) being a contest with an entry fee, and a kickass prize, i would, in the stead of entering it, simultaneously post content not elligible to win, but elligible for the PGL to use for the same purposes.

next time i'll make my points alot clearer to avoid confusion, (looking back on my post, i even have a hard time deciphering it...)

I agree with rubbing it in ya mates faces reporter , Next year iver got a nightshift job lined up, 8 days a month over 1300$ a month for part time work on the side with college, Not bad ey, my mates refuse to work becuase "they goto college" lol, so do and will I ,doesnt stop ya working for the doe, told em the things im getting few of em are like "c*nt!" lol

tbh I'd work now but I cant, the place i wanna work isnt employing, And all local jobs are taken by other college students who are on leave.

Btw, I'd happily add a donation here n there once when im working, throw in a fiver here and there to help keep things going / kitty for prizes and what not when im taking part. Would be cool.
