We've come to the sad realization that while custom PGL shirts rock the house, Cafepress sucks a big donkey dong. Their prices are so outrageously high that it simply doesn't make sense for most of you to buy our custom shirts there. The cost to PGL to maintain the shop at cafepress does not justify keeping it around any longer.
With a few exceptions, just about everything at the PGL shop was priced to give us about $5 per transaction. Unfortunately we haven't made enough over the past year to justify keeping the shop around for another year. So we're going out with a bang!
I've adjusted everything in the shop to give PGL no more than $2 per transaction. There are a few items that I had to change to $1 per transaction because they otherwise didn't make sense. So all of the prices you see in our shop are our cost +$1 or $2.
This sale will last until June 2, 2008, at which time I'm closing down the shop. I'm still looking for alternate ways to provide awesome PGL swag at a much reduced cost. But so far I'm coming up with not too many options. We just don't think the high prices are cafepress are fair to the members.
So for the next 30 days you all have a chance to get in on some cool PGL swag before it is pulled and the shop closed completely. For those of you who haven't been there, we've got stuff for everyone. Check it out here:
