America's VideoGame Expo - Nov. 2-4th

It's that time of yr. again. Time for the east coast's take on a gaming expo. America's VideoGame Expo is held in Philadelphia every yr. Last year, Wonder and I hit the event. I'm thinking about heading down to the expo on Sat, Nov 3rd. with my daughter. This yr. they seem to have added a lot more to the expo.

The MTV RockBand tour will be there, more retro arcade cabs (free play), the PMS Clan, Lorne Lanning (creator of Oddworld, Munch, etc.) and a bunch more.

Let me know if any PGL'ers in the area would like to meet up that weekend at the expo. We have a few in the region, it would be cool to finally meet you cats. Maybe we can all get together and throw back a few brews, of beer that is. Not the pirate.

Danger's birthday weekend but she has to take a section of the BAR that day up in NYC. She's going to be gone anyway, and may not be home until late. If that's really the case, I can totally come down for it. It's only about a 60 minute drive if I go the right direction this time.

I'll let you know for sure. Her birthday is the day before, but she can't really celebrate since she has to study for the exam.

I was just thinking yesterday about how I'd like to go to one of these some day. Still no chance of me making this one, but maybe some day.

I was chatting it up with Lord Sam the other day about the next potential MonkeyJam/PGLJam/Orangefest. We were thinking Chicago. The wives dig Chicago. Tons to do, easy to get to...

Is there an event like this in Chicago at some reasonable time of year?
