The last month or so have been pretty hectic helping to get my friends Alcohol modified dirt track car ready for the season. We just got it done last week and ran its first few practice laps last Thursday and it looks really fast! Its probably faster than the driver right now, until he gets used to it. He plans on running twice a week right now, at two tracks, on Friday and Sunday nights. This is going to be a fun year for racing!

| Nice!! I used to spend Fridays at our local dirt track. It was kinda small(and full of rednecks) but the fries were baller. | |

Now if I could only talk her out of some of her hobbies -- like a different pair of shoes for every day of the week.

The fresh air is actually nice. Its the exhaust fumes. Eyes burn & tear up, Nose runs. I love it.
The street stock/bomber class cars are cheaper to build, but they end up costing more in the long run. Body panels are getting harder to come by, and the payouts are lower. But it's still a good way to get started on dirt.
I'll keep you posted how it goes.

| Dude that's awesome!!!!! I'm a gearhead geek myself, but I can only do relatively painless stuff (change brakes, carb, etc). I wish I knew more. That racer looks really cool. Man, how fun!! Keep us posted on how his season goes.
... and thanks for checking in!

| "carburetor" I was too lazy to type it out. We have a 1971 Ford Maverick Grabber that I've wanted to rebuild for years but haven't had the time or the money to do so. I've done loads to it, but not the stuff I've wanted to. | |

Would that be the Super Trapperkeeper 2000? Lets hope it has no plans on world domination. (Southpark fans will know what I mean.)
And yes, sponsors are always welcome. Even if its just the cost of the sticker itself.
