In need of a Christmas miracle...

Well all, it looks like I'll be off the grid for a while. My wife and I came home from work yesterday to discover that we had been robbed. They didn't do any damage, but they managed to steal our notebook computer, digital camera with all of the baby pictures on it, our gamecube, PSP, Ipod, 360, all games (including our copies of Viva Pinata and COD3 from Gamefly; that will be fun to explain to them), cables, controllers, some DVDs and some of my wife's jewelry. It turns out that they hit 3 houses (including our neighbor) in our neighborhood yesterday.

Just wanted to let you all know that you'll need a new patsy for a while because AZRaiderH8r will be away for a bit. If by chance you see "me" online, notify the authorities!

damn, sorry about that man. at least insurance should cover all the stolen stuff, but still it's not the same that stuff had personal value like the camera having baby pictures on it and the 360 having your live account.

go with brew's idea of guard dogs...and hire a shotgun wielding maniac to keep people away aswell

Thanks for the well wishes everyone. My wife and I spent today running around town trying to find as many receipts as possible. It sounds like the insurance company is going to replace everything that was stolen, once we hit our $500 deductible. So, considering that our son basically cried himself to sleep last night, we went out and replaced his gamecube and PSP, and hooked him up with some games. Under the circumstances it was great to see how excited he was when he got home and saw everything waiting for him.

So, when I get the 360 replaced, can I link it to my current gamertag? (Not that this seems very important right now...)

And Brew, I love your suggestion man. Unfortunately my wife is terrified of dogs. This is why we had a guard cat that didn't do jack squat.

oh yeah, about the gamertag i think u can recover it, theres an option on the dashboard that says recover xbox live gamertag or something, im pretty sure thats how you would go about getting it back.
