Location, Location, Location...

Ok, so here are some location ideas. I need feedback though. The best possible turnout would clearly be better than me and Wonder sitting in an empty hotel lobby, staring at the elevator.

- Boston
- Chicago
- Minneapolis
- Lake Tahoe
- Las Vegas
- San Francisco

And the most obvious possiblity...
- Tijuana

Outside of Tijuana, which really only has strip clubs and burro-meat tacos, all of those locations have lots going on - culturally, socially, historically, environmentally, and what have you. If this is to be a family event, we need lots of options.

Anywho, if we're aiming for next summer, we have some time. But getting all you rapscallions on the same page could take a while. So let me know!

Denver would be pretty cool too...not too hot, not humid, and tons to do.

I would think that a central location would be the best.. though Boston and San Fran sound like they would be amazing.

Some additional ideas...

1. Transportation. I guess cabs would be fine, but I really loved NYC/NJ because there was a myriad of ways you could get from A-B.

2. Cost of Transportation. I'm not sure when the "seasons" are for flying and all this, but maybe we could have it at a time and place where it wouldn't be a big event going on in the destination. Unless we all would want to attend a big event as Lobbyists.

d. There is always Cincy.

I can't wait until a whole floor of a hotel is taken up by Lobbyists!

What's Denver's weather like in the summer? We should try to limit it to places where the heat in the summer (since that's likely the season we are shooting for) isn't too extreme.

I've only been o Chicago in the winter and MAAAAN was it cold. Is the heat the same way there?

Summer in Denver is awesome. Usually in the 80's, but there is NO humidity.

I feel sorry for the poor Houston and Florida folk here...I just can't stand constant high humidity like that.

I torn here... I guess my perspective it would look like this:

1. Seattle () it is very pretty here in the summer, however far to travel)
2. NY (my wife would like to go here, she loves NY)
3. California (SF, SD)
4. Vegas... just don't think it is family friendly at least it wasn't the last time I was there

Pretty much open... We could do Whistler in Aug (there already )

If you want no humidty, that leaves out the ENTIRE Mid-Atlantic Region. It sucks around here during the Summer.
