Hey maybe us Seattle locals can help with transport to/from the airport. I wouldn't mind giving you guys rides, hell who knows you might even make it to your hotel(s). I'll talk to Pickle to see if we can work something out if he's not to busy with his shop by then. Let me know.

I will probably take someone up on a ride offer. I am not sure where I need my ride to yet as I am trying to figure out where I am going to stay. I know a few people are staying in some hotels downtown near the conv center. If anyone is interested in splitting the cost of a room with a complete stranger (all my shots are up to date) let me know.

That's awesome Mill, I almost forgot that you lived in K-town. These guys are set man. Drop some dates and pm's people. My ride is super hot. Nothin' like cruising into Seattle when it's 30 degrees on a 1976 Vespa, red carpet treatment baby. Nuthin' but the best for PGLers.

I was wondering the same thing(about the room splitting, not your shots). Hotel costs are pretty ridiculous, and apparently there are no basement rooms that are cheaper. $150 a night is pricey, especially when the whole show is only $40 for all 3 days.

So far everyone that I'm aware of that's going has reservations at the Sheraton. It'd be cool if we could plan on a place to get together on Thursday night before everything kicks off. I don't think PAX actually begins until 2 pm on friday, so there's plenty of time to hang out on Thursday night. Meeting suggestions are welcome.

I'm working on invite to an exclusive party one of the nights. The people we use for storage are throwing a party with IBM. More information as we get closer.

I like the Crab Pot and it makes for great "family sytle eating" as they just pour the food on your table.

We can always do some of the touristy things if you want to bail from Pax for a couple hours... There are cruses that go by Bill Gates house to Underground tours to see old Seattle...

I would like to see some of the sights while in town. Maybe if we go by Bill's house he might show up on my Zune as a nearby Zune (no one else ever does).
