I know it's a ways off but I was wondering how many PGL'ers were gonna play. I was hopeing to go Chaos and be one of the chosen.

pgl doesnt seem to have many pc gamers spzombie, actually i think the only people that talk much about pc games is Dom and i, as matter of fact i havent seen dom around for a while now

Ahh just wondering if there was much of a MMO/PC game user base out there.

This game is on my list. I've been signed up to get into beta for a long time. I would say there is a good chance that I will be playing this at some time.

i got out of the MMO world years ago, but i recently tried out the lord of the rings online 7day free trial, and that game is fun, i think im gonna start playing it, they actually even offer a lifetime membership of $299

Dang actualy it's not that bad considering the money I spent on WoW...[shudder]. But the LOTR stuff wasn't my cup of tea.

I love the concept of the MMO, but I'm too cheap to (1) buy a new computer that would support the play and (2) buy the game and then (3) pay a monthly fee. Since gaming on my couch or AK Rockers is more comfy than sitting in front of my computer, I choose console gaming. While the consoles are getting close, they still can't quite hit the awesome graphics on a PC tho. That's what I miss from my PC gaming days.

I played WoW for about 2 years and LOTRO for maybe 2 months. It was fun but I quickly grew tired of it. I think it was more of my general burnout on MMOs more than LOTRO itself though. Playing a hobbit in the shire was a very cool experience though.

it seems like a good game, ill definitely play it for a couple months, see how i feel then think about the lifetime thing

i have been in the beta, however i found the combat speed and lack of originality to be disappointing. its like a mix between WoW and Guild Wars. but with the pacing being as disappointing as it was i quickly gave up on it. however this was an earlier beta it might get better.

Ouch well from the movies I saw I was thinking it was leaps and bounds over WoW but who knows I'll still give it a try. I know the earlier footage was <Yawn> boring.
