WoW Ive been sucked back in.

I do this oddly frequently considering the length of time I spend in these games. It started years ago at the release of EverQuest, I was sucked into that game several times for a total length of approximately 4 years. I have played the small Guilds and the largest most demanding Raiding guild. I dont know quite what it is about these games that makes me hate them, then go back like some sort of co-dependent abuse victim.

That being said I have once again begun playing WoW again, enjoying the heck out of playing a Rogue on a PVP server which adds an enjoyable aspect of challenge to the game.

That being said its really cutting into my free time, yet I dont seem to care. I fear the day when blue dragon and mass effect come out to challenge my free time. I really am a sucker for RPG's.

So does anyone else Play WoW still? or notice thier time being sucked up by any one type of game in an inordinate manner?

WoW is definitely a time sucker! I haven't played it in a while, but I might "have to" start playing it again. The reason I say I might "have to" is because I might be working at Blizzard, very soon, which will automatically get me a lifetime subscription!

WoW is a joke! Myth Of soma = WORST game for sucking time ever!

It takes FOUR hours! for one % increase And to raise any stats it isnt level based so power leveling made your character sucky! you had to level slow and smartly and it was just a ever grinding 2d isometric mmo, all that aside. It OWNED!! lol it got that slow over lvl 80, Before that its like a nice race and every character is unique, Leveling your character to have more HP than a lvl 100 at lvl 60 lol (like me he-he ^^)

was a mint game, check it out on www.mmorpg.com I also played wow, i got to lvl 60 in 2 and a half weeks, got given 1,000 gold and as many runecloth bags as ya can shortcut ive forgotton what, and I was in the top guild on the server, Dragonmaw (EU server) Deleted the character god knows how long ago, then made a new char on another server as a blood elf pally, lvl 35 in 4 days with 600G farmed myself ^,^ I love my mmorpgs but they seriously bad for ya health, Tis why I stay away from em and just play RPG's now like oblivion, although TWO WORLDS will probs get me sucked in if its gonna be a mmo for the xbox.

Play on Darrowmere Horde, char name is Calypsia. Our guild is fairly low key, have cleared Kara and HKM but summer took our healers away for the most part so we havent been able to do any 25 mans lately. Its still fun but I am looking forward to Warhammer or Aion and will probably drop WoW when they are released.

two worlds is NOT an MMO, age of conan is coming to 360 in MMORPG form and Huxley is going to be a MMOFPS on the 360, it sounds like planetside to me, i played EQ for 4 years, WoW for 2 years, and ive played about everything in between, eq2, earth and beyond, star wars galaxies, city of heroes, a few a more that i cant remember

Age of Conan actually looked pretty cool when I saw it. In addition to releasing it for the PC this fall, it will be coming to the 360 as well (probably next year). I think it should be super hella fun. You will get the first 30 days free, then the monthly sub starts.

Pretty sure somethig was said about Two Worlds having multiplayer mind.. And alot of people tend to think its mmo wise, Anyways well see, huxley im looking forward to for sure, i'll probs play it on PC when I get a alienware after a few month working next year hasnt even been given a date of release i dont think so im not to worried bout that, Aion looks good but I prefer lineage 2 anyday, If l2 wasnt so far through i'd still be playing it, all the trouble I had b4 P2P I couldnt be hassled to keep playing with the probs i got.

I might give aion a shot in better if any of you guys are can maybe do it together!

I'm currently level 21 and I've only had a handful of quests where I needed a group. I do know that as you start to get towards the upper 20's grouping becomes much more of a necessity. I do have the advantage that me and 5 friends all joined at the same time though our play schedules don't always overlap. From a community standpoint I think this is the most helpful of any MMO I've been a part of.
