Titan Quest
I know it's a bad time with R6:LV, GoW, COD3, and others coming out fort he 360 over the next few weeks, but if you want o get some awesome Diablo2 style gaming on for cheap ($30), this game rocks. I bought it in late June, but didn't play it much. I built a new PC a few weeks ago, and loaded it on the PC to see how much better it would run, and really started getting into the game. It's easily the best computer game that I've played since Star Wars: Jedi Knight 2.

We talked about this at the temp forum and while I am seriously tempted I don't think I can game on my PC anymore. What started out as supposed tendonitis in my wrists has apparently turned into some sort of chronic crap. Anyway, it pains me (literally) to use my mouse nowadays - which sucks. Not sure if its my mouse (I've tried about 4 in the last few months) or my setup (which I've changed at home and at my office), but I can't find anything that makes it less painful. Diablo was AWESOME and I'd love to play something similar. I just don't think I'll be able to do it. I know, TMI, but I'm just sad and disappointed that I won't be able to hit up cool games like this. My wrists don't hurt when playing with a controller - maybe I can use my 360 controller on my PC? Hm.. that's a possible option...... I'll hafta check that out. Anyone with Titan's quest wanna see if it works?

Did you ever try one of those trackballs. not so much for gaming (which it's fine for), but for general everyday computing?

Yeah Cam, I have three mice that I switch off on regularly. Once is a regular wireless mouse (MS), another is a trackball (Logitech) and another is a thumb mouse thinggie (can't remember who makes it). I rotate em in and out to avoid the repetition, but so far it hasn't helped too much unfortunately.
I did realize after posting that in order to play with the 360 controller I would actually have to go buy a corded one but it might be worth it!

Sorry to hear that nothing has worked with the wrist pain. One of the Sisters at the school where I work suffers from pretty bad CTS and a trackball made all of the difference for her.
I almost bought a MS brand wired controller so I could use it on my PC with games like Staw Wars Battlefront II, but I held back because of the price ($40 is too much for a wired controller). Anyone know if any of the third party wired controllers will also work on the PC?

I'll still be working on it to see if I can get rid of it. My current Doc is an arseclown so I'm looking for another. During PT the woman who was helping me was confused since much of the stuff she tried didn't work or didn't react the way it was supposed to. So apparently I'm some sort of freak! haha.. of course, we all knew that already!

Sorry to hear that haven't been able to get it worked out for you. Have you tried any alternative treatments (i.e. chiropractor)?
I always try to avoid arseclowns for doctors -- for some reason your term painted a literal picture in my mind.

LOL. I had PT for the last few months, but that hasn't seemed to help unfortunately. I switch off between right and left hand mousing (never thought I'd be able to pick it up with my left hand, but I have). I'm hoping its something that I can work through, but have had trouble working out lately b/c its painful. At least now I've got some exercised to help out from the physical therapist and hopefully those will help.
Hopefully I have time to find a new doctor and get a 2nd opinion. Eventually I'll work thru it or somehow come away with a way to deal with it. Its not gonna stop me from gaming, that's for sure!!
