I sincerely hope that with the advent of digital distribution we can avoid the expenses associated with packaging, etc. and pass on those savings to the gamer. I'm certain there are other expenses (server, bandwith, etc), but I am still hopeful. Another cool thing is that most everyone will be able to get the title at the same time (if the bandwith doesn't choke on release day/time).
