I thought I'd take a few minutes and introduce myself. I'm carocat, but you may call me Cat, I'm 23 and live in the UK. Yes, I'm a girl playing games. We do exist, you know.

Please don't see this as a reason to send me FR, as much as I'd love to have the whole world on my FL, it only has 100 spaces and I don't tend to add anyone, unless I know that we have games in common and actually play them. Sorry...

I only play Xbox or 360 games and mainly on Xbl.

Here it's 5:40 , but I won't be playing any games until later this evening. As far as games I'm playing right now, I'm playing Saint's Row, Madden 07, Oblivion, PGR3, CoD2, NCAA, and a few live arcade games.

Sorry, I meant the FNFF...

How bad do find the lag on Saints Row. It's almost unplayable for me.

I've now continued on Xblivion, but I'm only about halfway through. Which is good I suppose as it's such a great game and I don't want it to end...

We start the FNFF around 10 or 11 est and it lasts from four to six hours. Check the Connecting... thread for some of the details for tonights session.

To me the lag is not that bad in custom games, but in ranked games it's almost unplayable.

I agree with you about Oblivion, that game kicks a$$. I'm about half way though the main quest, and I've only completed the Fighters and the Mages guild. I think once I'm done with the main quest I'll do the theives and Dark Brotherhood guilds.

FNFF starts around 8:00pm-9:00pm PST... We go to 12:00am or later... I'm on until 2:00am or so...

The games being talked about tonight are:

GRAW
COD2

followed by: Saints Row, Uno, maybe Halo2 so far... You can look in the connected folder and there is a thread going there. Again welcome and it would be great to see you online tonight (for us ).

Most Friday Night games take place in the evening, and really no set beginning and end. Mostly it's when people can join until when they fall asleep....sometimes at the controller.

Yeah, Oblivion is great. Apart from this one quest that I'm doing now that just takes forever. Grrrrrrr....

Saint's Row ranked is impossible. I should really play the game again though, I haven't played it for ages. Hmmmm.

I don't actually have GRAW or COD 2. :P

I do play Halo a lot, but generally just with some friends that don't have a 360 yet.

My connection is a bit problematic to say the least at the moment, I get extreme lag on any game, so I most likely won't be joining you guys tonight.

Let me just do the maths though, 8pm PST, that's like 3 or 4 in the morning over here... Hmmm. I guess you may see me drunk one day as I tend to play when I come home and friday night, well, it seems like the right thing to do after working all week.

As far at the FR goes we have a list of gamertags and if you are looking to play feel free to join anyone of us at anytime.

FNFF (Friday Night Frag Fest) is an old tradition in this community that goes way back before this new site and pretty much started with Halo2. Friday was the one day of the week we seemed to get a solid group together and find time to play until we pass out. If you have a group of friends feel free to bring them in and FNFF can start as soon as 2 or more members of our site have jumped into a match together.

I hope that you enjoy our community, it would also be great to get news from the gaming community over seas!
