Hello
Just decided to introduce myself. I am an almost 40 year old father of two little boys. I haven't really played any games in years. My wife came home back before Christmas and said one of her students was selling a PS2 and 7 games for $50. I figured I would get it and put it up for the kids when they get a little bigger. The day she brought it home I figured I better check it out to make sure it worked. Needless to say, it never got put up. Plus the boys (3 and almost 5) are wearing it out. They love racing four wheelers and skating with Tony Hawk. One day I was at the video game store and I was asking the guy for recommendations. He kept talking about xbox games. I decided to borrow one of my students xbox for the weekend. First night on it I ordered a system with 18 games off ebay. It should be here Monday or Tuesday. I now have two televisions in the basement, each with it's own system. Went out today and got stuff to run the xbox through the stereo. Also picked up Guitar Hero 2for my wife today. She has been going on and on about it so I figured I would suprise her with it. I really didn't think I would like it but it really is a lot of fun. Brought home my students xbox for the weekend again and wow, it sounds awesome. The boys and I have been playing Need For Speed Underground 2 all day with the stereo cranked. The Cerwin Vegas have been shaking. I can't wait to get my system in and get online. That is the main reason I got the xbox was to play FPS online. Now if I just wasn't so bad. I look forward to playing with some of you soon. Just remember to take it easy on me.
