Well, I hafta say I am severly saddened that (once again) I finished a MGS game, and the last at that. The ending damn near made me shit myself, and the same goes for anyone else thats been following the series. A masterpiece in every sense of the word. For the first time in my life, my expectations were exceeded. The ending was what- an hour long? It could have been longer and I still would've soaked up every last drop of it. I cannot believe how perfect this game was, and the amount of fan service it had given us.

Thank you, Hideo Kojima, you made me cry more times than I care to admit.

Dude, what a ****ing masterpiece. I didn't want this shit to end. Not at all. I love the homage. Shadow Moses, driving REX, all of it. Sweet as hell.

Ya, the Shadow Moses part made me flip. I like how you got to replay that lil part from 1 lol. How about that ending tho? Fock, Big Boss!!! Talk about a suprise ending. In fact, I thought Snake shot himself- I even yelled 'NOOOO!' at the game and I was cursing Hideos name up and down. Glad it ended how it did, but I want more

Did you guys only get eagle? I got eagle, hyena, pig; I can't even remember all the ones I got. I think I got like 7 or 8 different animals for ranks.

Eagle was for headshots, I think.
Hyena was for picking up a bunch of weapons in the field.
Pig was for using a lot of rations.
I think there was a tiger also for getting way too many kills.
Like I said, I can't remember all the ones I got. I'll have to load up my last save point from the game and I'll get back to you guys.

Did you guys look through all the different animals at the end.

Yeah, I got a few others too. I think I'm going to go back through and get some of the unlockables.

The final fist fight was really cool too, how it went through each stage of the game.

Just finished it last night eagle was my highest rank as well. The game was a masterpiece I liked revisiting the old stomping grounds like you guys did and the flashbacks were great. I would have loved to see how Snake continues weather he kicks the bucket or gets healed and what the heck is it going to take to kill Raiden already, that got abit much. All in all I couldn't have asked for a better SP game now its time for MP.

I still havent touched MP. I might try this week or the next. Raidens parts were focking awesome- the choereography alone was amazing.

Raidens fight with Vamp has to be the best cutscene I can remember but dude comes back from everything.

True, but he's got the cybernetics and white blood and all this.

I really like how they have some semi-fantasy stuff, but use scientific things to explain it. Like Raiden and Vamp; they seem to be immortal (supernatural) but really they're just a bit cybernetic (scientific and believable in 10 years).

I'm glad they de-pussified Raiden. He was too much of a momma's boy in MGS2, but his MGS4 scenes were great. I did like the way they demystified the supernatural aspects of the characters with science. Great story all together.

Ya, I hated him in 2, but then got a man-crush on him in 4. Truly bad-ass.
