Yep, I just got a call from my local Gamestop. They are having a shindig with a demo of the game running from 10pm-12am with pizza and drinks and then the release of the game at 12:00am.

I'll be there tonight!

Forgot to mention Circuit City gave me a free guide with it as well. Something to look at during the 8 minute loading, other than a grey mullet dude smoking.

Just picked it up tonight. I think I'll be a good fan and finish MGS2 and maybe give MGS3 a go.

Oh I picked up the 3-pack a while ago, but just Nancied my way through. Snake Eater seems like it is strange (haven't touched it, just a feeling).

Snake Eater has the most mature story of the first 3 games. It has some really gripping moments.

Keez, MGS3 is a lil harder due to the radar deal, but possibly the best out of the 1st 3 (by just a twat hair).

Got mine and loved on it for quite a while yesterday!

*grumble* I was sooo hopeful that this game would break the PS3 trend here at the store, so I bought more copies than I normally would have. We had this game available at opening yesterday, on the actual release day and have yet to sell a single copy. I thought for sure that it would break GTA's record of 2. No dice.

I really have no idea why PS3 doesn't sell here. It drives us nuts!

I've yet to see John Rambo, but I did watch the special features. Need to check that one out on Bluray when I get my projector screen built/installed.

I wasn't dying to get this game but since someone in my neighborhood got the bundle and didn't want the game it was tough to turn down for $40. I haven't opened it yet though.

Maybe if you took down the sign that says 'Serving the gay community since 2003!' and wore clothes around the store, the PS3 folk would buy
