Circumvent iTunes, Subscribe to Podcasts Directly on the iPhone

Wizzard Media has launched a new podcatching web application for the iPhone and iPod touch. The new app acts as a podcatcher for any show with a RSS feed, and offers an email-like inbox for keeping track of subscribed shows. In addition, the app can import your subscription lists from iTunes, can export an OPML feed of your subscription list, and will soon offer the ability to subscribe to dynamic OPML feeds. The new Wizzard podcatching application can be accessed by visiting Wizzard Media Receiver (beta) from an iPhone or iPod touch

Would this be something that you would only need to access when you wanted to sync up and update your podcasts?

If so this would be a webap that I would use. Since I could take advantage of the fast functinality of wifi and not use it when I was dealing with the dullness of the Edge network.

Yeah, from what I can tell, you subscribe to, keep track of, and search for podcasts without using iTunes to do so. Listen, save or delete. Tells you when new ones are available, and you manage them directly through this app. I was using it on Edge and it wasn't bad, faster on wi-fi though.
