What do you listen to?
I don't wanna know what bands you like, just the genre. I'm a lil curious as to what everyone mainly listens to after I heard Keenstylie likes dirty hippy music last night
I listen to (in no particular order):
Rockabilly
Psychobilly
Non-pop/emo punk (aka street rock, 'tough guy punk', Oi!)
Irish traditional/folk
Oldies
Some surf- mostly the car songs
Some types of faster bluegrass
Older metal
Older ska

- Metal (Thrash, Death, Heavy...).
Is there any other type of music?
It has to be melodic though. Non of that shit where it's just guys playing as fast as possible. It needs to have a good vibe and shit.

I'll give everything except Country a chance before I make a decision. Prog-Rock and Metal(all types) are my top favs though.

I will listen to just about every type of music other than Country. That being said, when we were in Ireland we were channel surfing and came across some old Country music that was actually pretty cool.

I'm a huge fan of 80's music. That's what I listen to most, probably.
I also listen to some weird? music, like Beck and Radiohead.
Then there's the times when I'm in a mellow mood, and I listen to softer rock, like the Fray, DCFC, or RHCP.
Then there's the times I just want to rock out and I listen to stuff like linkin park, chevelle, or incubus.
I know you said no bands, but it's hard for me to describe it without giving examples.

I listen to a lot of different stuff. At least I think it's varied. The common theme is good, or at least interesting, guitar work. I don't rule out any genre if there's good guitar in there.
I'm not a big fan of rap, but there are exceptions. I listen to a lot of classic rock and 80's rock. I also like blues alot, but I'm not into finding obscure musicians. Country isn't repulsive to me, but it gets repetitious really fast and I seldom listen to it for long.

I, too, enjoy classic rock and 80's stuff, but I do have a fair share of 90's grunge/alt.rock. All in all, though, I can listen to anything but that silly gangsta c_rap.
But, I mostly LISTEN to Talk Radio. In my mind, I just can't "justify" listening to music all day, while driving around town. But, if I can educate myself on topics that affect my life, I feel good about it.

I listen to everything, from classical, to rock to soul to opera to even polka music. I like a little bit of everything.
Although my favorite 10 year time period for music would be from 1976 to 1985.

Same here from 6am-10, then its over to my C2C podcats and music. I used to switch over to Rush and Hannity, but after a few years I realized they really aren't all that conservative and are just mouthpieces for whatever Republican happens to be in/running for office.

Well, if they agree with that person's position on whatever, then yeah, that would make sense. But, that definitely isn't always the case. Anyway, I won't drag this off topic.
