Picked up a 16GB iTouch this morning.....
Well although I have read the degraded video quality threads and the *gasp* lack of certain iPhone apps. The iTouch seems to be the perfect product for me.

I made sure to get it BB so I could use the 30 days no questions asked return if need be.

It is synching as we speak

I ended up picking up iPhones for my lady and myself yesterday....my iTunes audio library is a mess...

I absolutely love the interface, I have a strong feeling that you are going to enjoy your new player!

I do love it. I'm fact I am using it to answer you. Don't need the phone but this thing fits the bill nicely. It is so thin and the net rocks. Sound much better than my 3g photo and no monthly bill.
