Nice! I was about to buy a Zune a week ago. Glad I didn't. Having patience pays.

Hmmm, I just ordered my lost Zunes replacement, an Archos 605. If it does not live up to my expectations, I may return it and just get another Zune.

MS needs WAY more than a $50 price drop and a promise of a Zune 2 right now. MS has had wifi in every Zune for almost a yr now and chose to do absolutely nothing with it. Zune could have had a web browser and a wifi music store LONG ago. Firmware this and firmware that. Ms didn't listen to it's supporters, Apple did.

Yeah. Add wi-fi and add all normal codecs, are do what Archos is doing and charge a license fee, ($20) for the codec pack. Archos actually went over board on add-ons. They have around seven, each costing $20-30. The Opera browser is $30. The 720p HD out codec is $20. Widgets pack, $20. H.264 and digital sound add in, $20.
Either way, these companies, both Apple and MS need to not hinder our viewing codec choices. The devices are more then capable. Either charge us for it or open it up and stop being the "police" for the movie studios.

I can now say that I have used the wireless feature of the Zune! ChurchV50 was in town and I sent him some pictures of the sexy girls! It is really cool, by the way. I was able to look at my Zune and see what he was viewing or listening to. You can adjust that for privacy, but it was cool. Gave us an excuse to turn our wireless on. I usually keep it off to save the charge for important stuff, like listening to the Bungie.net podcasts. Anyone who hasn't given the recent ones a listen definitely should. This last one was talking all about the forge.
