Zune Help?

There seems to be a method to the Zune's crazy ways... at least a pattern.

It seems that it took some of the Artists from the B's and pasted them over the D's and S's. So the song title is a song by DKM, but the actual song is a Bone song. Luckily I still have my old music library, and will just have to pull that over from my laptop.

On my way out today, I tried to play a song in WMP11 that I got from the Zune MP, and it didn't work. Also, an error popped up that said I needed to reinstall WMP11. The Zune software has said that before too. Awesome.

I've about had it with the fast forward/skip function. I listen to some 2hr podcasts and sometimes have to scan forward to where I left off and often click to the next. Makes me wanna smash it

I messed around, and let Zune fix itself. I told it to look up and correct my music, and it worked.

However, a new update calls for more DRM woes. I tried to log into the Zune MP last night, and it just redirected to the Support page. No error message, nothing.

I've read somewhere that any time there is an update to Windows or anything, the DRM breaks. Maybe I'll email MS and see what's up. I don't want to call and have somebody tell me to uninstall and reinstall the Zune software (which is the only way it will work for me). Why does buying music legally have to be so damn difficult.

I haven't had any issues with Win updates and DRM. I didn't have the DRM music for long though either. Tunebite is your friend. Did you try deleting the content within the DRM folder under C:\Docs and Settings\All Users\DRM?

There was a different folder that I was told to change the name of (back up) and then let windows rebuild it, but that didn't work.

Maybe when my school gets their ish together and has Vista Ultimate ready, I can just wipe my PC of all crazyness. Hopefully something is just configured wrong.
