Are IPods worth it?

Meijer has the IPOD 30GB Black or White for $175 this Friday only. I think I'm going to jump on it, it is a 30% off sale. Was debating between this and the Creative, but for the price my mind is made up.

Hehe, if they have them in stock I'll pick up 2 of em. Have to have my wife buy separate though, it is only one per person / household. Could always use a different address if they check that. hahaha

Do they have an online store? I havent ever heard of Meijer in my area.

I don't think they have anything online. They're like the original Super Walmark or SuperK or whatever else has tried to follow in their footsteps. They have everything (food, supermarket, clothes, school supplies, games, etc) and everything is usually pretty inexpensive.

Internet + Greedy people = No freaking IPODS left to buy and they aren't taking rainchecks. It's insane. First off, a whole bunch of people bought out all the IPODS earlier this week hoping to get a price reduction today with the coupon. Also, people were in line last night at 9pm to purchase them at midnight. Reading deals websites and stuff, these people are just going to turn around and sell them for a profit. :/

It doesn't help that the stores only carry like 6-10 of these things, you'd think for advertised sales they would have more so people that want to buy one would be able to.

I am going to try again this morning on the way to work, they said maybe they would get a shipment in this morning. I'm not counting on it anymore.

Vent away... I justed wanted ONE. They should stock up before a promotion and limit the sales to a single person. Greedy aholes.

Yup... this would happen at CC all the time. We'd have a deal on Sunday, and it'd be gone by 4 because we didn't get very many of the items in. It's fun when people scream at you about it... like you ordered the stock or something.
