80s for the win!

On a more serious note, Liquid Tension Experiment is always a good listen.

And at times some Sarah Brightman, Masters of Chant or Andrea Bocelli. The opposite of that would be VAST, Nightwish, Sepultura, GWAR, all of which I love. Anything but hiphop/rap and country will do.

Did I slightly Keezy?

cocksparrer(classic oi)
the clash(dont talk to me if you dont know the greatest band in the world)

thats about it lately. all my music besides my records are at work which i havent been to all week.i have a ton, but i dont have any new stuff for the most part.you only really find people releasing albums on vinyl anymore if they're a punk band, and some indie bands.

Awesome thread idea Ronnie... I have been looking for some new music! It's funny to see Jon bumping some Jack Johnson and then blasting some NIN. I'm the same way.

Right now I"m listening to Less Than Jake. Such amazing energy with a hint of metal guitars and of course, brass instruments!

I feel so TRL to say it, but I still enjoy a good Fall Out Boy or Panic! At the Disco song (Swag is probably throwing up as she reads this )

I'm also pretty much at the whim of "Shuffle Songs" on my iPod. I really like Timbaland and songs done by Pharrell/Neptunes.

I like the Clash too. Give me some good punk to listen to! I'll have to look more into moneen and cocksparrer. I have heard both of those names, but never really gave them a listen.

Man, lets see. I listen to a pretty wide variety of music (sans country and rap, just can't get into that stuff). Here's what's been in rotation lately:

Weird Al (Straight Outta Lynwood)
Yellowcard (Ocean Avenue)
Lamb of God (Sacrement)
Atreyu (A Deathgrip On Yesterday)
Staind (Chapter V)
Nickelback (All the Right Reasons)
Cartel (Chroma)
My Chemical Romance (Three Cheers...)
Unearth (Our Days of Eulogy)
Machine Head (Any album...)

Apparently I listen to a lot of "emo" music as put by a friend, but I don't really classify music into genres. I like what I like I guess.

I noticed that Crippler is a fellow Lamb of God listener as well. Crip, is it just me, or does their new album, Sacrement, sound exactly the same as Ashes of the Wake, or any of their other albums for that matter? I'm getting pretty tired of their new stuff.

-Brad

Brad, Sacrement isn't floating my boat either. Ashes I think is better along with Palaces. I'm waiting for the new Killswitch. Should rock hard.
