Join Date: Sep 2006 Location: Nazareth, PA Age: 35 | I'm checking out Daath. I was at the PRS Experience (PRS Guitars) this past weekend and Emil Werstler (guitarist) from Daath played. Holy crap! He played some of the heaviest, grooving death metal I've heard in a while. The drummer from Daath backed him up. (He kicked major ass too.) So it's was just drums and guitar baby. Nothing heavier than that! I never heard of Daath before that moment. The shit he played got my ass up from my seat and got me throwing the horns at him. He then threw some horns and killer riffs my way.  He made a hollowbody PRS sound heavy ass hell.  Most of the other guitarists on hand were more jass, blues, rock oriented. So the crowd wasn't too into this dude. He played riffs from their upcoming 2nd album. All I could find right now is this:
He's the guy that plays the lead about 2:45 in.
