Ozzfest 2007.....It's FREE!
Metal head powers activate. Yesterday, it was annouced that this yr's Ozzfest tour will be absolutely free. Yes, that's right. FREE. I will go even if the bands suck. There is SO much crazy crap to do and see. Like painted boobies.

That's right, OZZY and SHARON OSBOURNE and tour producer LIVE NATION broke the news today at the Concert Industry Consortium in Los Angeles that their 12th annual hard rock spectacular--a 25-date extravaganza launching July 7 in Los Angeles--is pulling the plug on ticket prices and giving the power back to the fans calling this summer’s OZZFEST "FreeFest." The other OZZFEST cities as of now are San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle, Denver, Albuquerque, Phoenix, Dallas, San Antonio, Kansas City, St Louis, Chicago, Indianapolis, Columbus, Pittsburgh, New York, Boston, Philadelphia, Hartford, Charlotte, Atlanta, West Palm Beach, Nashville. Note: a final confirmed list of cities and dates is forthcoming.

Holy Sh*t!!!! That's awesome! I hope the show is good, last years main stage was pretty good, but the second stage was mostly screamo bullsh*t.

Most likely, I hope to hit the Camden show (Philly) or maybe Scranton, if it hits there. Camden is so beautiful in the summer. 
No lineup for this yr yet. We can assume two; Ozzy and Black Label Society. I'll go just to see BLS. |

Warped Tour is nothing but emo gays now (no offense to homos/Brew). Tis a shame, wasn't it a few years back when NOFX played there? Now My Chemical Periodpants is a headliner and everyone whines about the heat.

Everyone come along its Cripplers year to drive to Camden!!LOL
We used to go to The Warped Tour every year and it just got to be too sucky, I think the last year I went, it was NOFX and Rancid. Rancid rocked too. My favorite year was Less Than Jake and Social Distortion and The Descendants. Milo rules!!!

That's exactly what I was thinking. Water was $8 when I paid to get in. Maybe they had a sponsor put up some huge cash. I'm also wondering how the heck they are gonna handle the seats that are indoors in Camden. Under the roof. Having those once the main stage kicked in was awesome. Having a seat in the shade after standing all day was well worth the extra cash. |
