Zune premium headphones

Alright I need new headphones for my Zune. PGL is always a good place for advice on anything so let's hear some suggestions. I'm looking toward getting the Zune Premium Headphones v2, but it's getting some mixed reviews. Does anyone else have these and have had a positive experience? I've had some skull candy headphones before and really liked those. I'm trying to stay under $30, $30 is fine also, and I'm looking for the headphones that go inside of the ear. So what do you guys think or suggest?

You could probably get more for your money if you dont go for the zune brand or Ipod brand headphones. You could probably find a pair just as good or even better than those for less money.

I have those for my Zune 80 and I really like them. Although I did have to experiment with the different rubber ear pieces until I found the ones I liked (the smallest ones I think). The cord for it is made out of nylon I think which means they don't seem to get tangled up as much (or as bad)

If you can swing $50 then your selection is larger and you can get some very nice in-ear models. I have the Sennheiser CX-300 and I love them. The bass coming out of these little things is amazing. I wasn't going over $50 and these were the best bang for the buck then.

Damn! Yes I am.

Get them. You're not gonna beat those at that price.

another place I like, but I don't shop in that price range when I get headphones is HeadRoom - Right Between Your Ears. I think it's a good site. It's a bunch of audiophile guys who run the site, and give a good analysis on different headphones.

Personally, I like the Etymotic ear canal headphones. The ones I got are still $200.

Looking at their site, the cheap ear-canal cans are $50. For the price you're still getting nice cans, that are natural noise canceling, and thus you don't need to turn up the volume as load compared to ear-bud cans like those come with the iPod.

Here is a link to the ear-canal offerings: linky

I liked my Zune Premiums. The sound quality was great, but they were taken off of my desk at the store. That'll teach me for leaving them in plain sight! The only problem I had with them was more me than them. I am a static magnet and, every now and then, they would zap me in my ears. It was usually fine, but I caught a really good one this one time and it hurt like hell.

I ended up buying the Zune headphones. Both the Zune and Sennheiser are the in ear type, both have similar prices, and both got a 4 star rating. I went with the Zune headphones since the one advantage it has is the nylon cord and the little case to store the headphones. Thanks for all the advice, suggestions, and input.
