This one is being produced by Rick Rubin and is said to be the link between the Justice and Black album. Hopefully this album makes me totally forget the last 15 yrs of Metallica's music. I'm reading that there are some LONG songs on this bitch too. I'm talking 8-10 mins. Oh please let it be done. Give me some new, memorable riffs that makes me want to learn some new Metallica.
I can't wait until September.

| Eight 8 minute tracks are a must! I trust Ricky Rubin, so this may make me listen to Metallica again. The name is dumb though, it would sound better reversed. Magnetic Death! | |

I may illegally download it and burn copies for all my friends just to rub their noses in the whole NAPSTER thing. They thought they were losing money because of Napster, but in reality nobody was buying their CDs because they sucked out loud.

Also, looking at Bob Rocks Wiki, It looks like there was a fan petition for his removal. I guess its not that surprising after all. Anyways, I'll be looking for something new and interesting from Metallica. Hell, I'll probably get it on release day. They have some kinda link to my inner child that forces me to buy and like everything they make.
I just wish they would start doing drugs again for my own selfish reasons.
Black tar heroin FTW. | |

The sound quality isn't the best. Not bad. Sounds a tad pieced together for the sake of being long though. I was waiting for Kirk to finally rip a solo out like we all know he can. But it doesn't happen in this song.

It's god damn Metallica and yet that new song is so amateurish in feel, in how it's composed and has very little energy. Listen to how bad ass Master of Puppets and ...And Justice for All are then listen to this. No comparison. What happen to the harmonies, tempo changes, etc. Oh well, we'll just have to wait for the album and see what we get.
Will we get bad ass Metallica:
Or the new Metallica:

| It seems so, Paul. I had high hopes, but the more I hear, the more faith I lose. | |

| Yes! A lot of people count The Black Album as being the last great Metallica album, but I'm not a huge fan of it. The first 4 are all timeless classics. | |
