Expose yourself.

No, not like that.

Just for fun, name three songs that you listen to on a regular basis that are either diametrically opposed to who you are, or you're just embarrassed to admit that you like because of the genre or whatever. Get the idea?

I'll start.

1) Crazy Bitch by Buckcherry. Many of you are thinking "What's wrong with that song?" Well, nothing musically. It completely rocks. But those of you who know me know I have to roll up the windows and turn it down just a little if I'm not on the highway. Lyrically discussing such topics in public is difficult for someone who used to blush during My Sharona. Even so, I can't stop listening to it. The guitar's too good.

2) Hot In Herre by Nelly. I don't do rap. And pop-rap is even worse. Yet I listen. Why?

3) Short Skirt, Long Jacket by Cake. I love this song. Can't get it out of my head. There's nothing wrong with Cake except that it's not very macho really. It's kind of oddball, and I haven't come to terms with the fact that I'm an oddball. Oh well, at least it's not as bad a Sonido Total by the Pinker Tones (from Forza 2).

There are others... my musical tastes are very varied. But these are the current top three.

Paramore - "CrushCrushCrush" - It is catchy as hell, but it makes me feel dead inside afterwards.

Ice Cube - "The N**** You Love To Hate" - Decent song, but me listening to it while at a stoplight doesn't work too well...I have a tendency to sing without realizing it.

Neil Young - "Heart of Gold" - I genuinely like this song, but usually it effs up any mix I have going. Example -- Megadeth - Neil Young - Slayer

Twilight is on a distinguished road

Cop Killer - Bodycount

Today was a good day - Ice Cube

Manowar - Hail and Kill

I usually detest (C)rap music, but I still like some of the older stuff from back in the day.

Generally, the only music I had that was made by a white person was Radiohead and 3rd Bass.

Lately though, I've been spinning Grand Ole Party like they going out of style. And this music, is so not me.

This song in particular.

Wow, 3rd Bass...totally forgot about them. Reminds me of Special Ed and some other old school stuff like Digital Underground (the Humpty Dance).

I listen to a wide range of music so I don't know if I really have anything that is too odd. Everyonce in a while I might crank up some NWA or Public Enemy.
