I finally got around to listening to a bunch of "Nobody likes Onions" yesterday on my 6 hr drive back from Nashville. I'm kinda surprised at the amount of racist and gay bashing type humor. I've been blasted for saying far less so this was really an eye opener to what some pglers (who have blasted me) are really like.

I would like to suggest "You look Nice today" It has a small amount of adult humor, but far more intelligent and mature.

There is a major difference from being a bigot and being a comedian. Patrick(the shows host) is a noted "Outrageous" comedian. He has a style similar to Robert Schimmel, he tells very offensive jokes for the shock value. Don't try to start something over a podcast's over-the-top humor by comparing it to flat out hate-speech.

Call "Different Strokes for Different Folks", but don't go "there".

If that guy was a racist or a bigot I would never recommend his show to anyone...

Most times he is bashing ignorance....there is a great show where he interviews a chauvinist...I was laughing my ass off. It isn't always what he says, but how, or even when, things get said in the show that make me laugh....

I don't know the guy personally so I can't really base my comments on anything other than my listening to the show. But it seems to me that he has created a persona that he uses to pull off the show.

Well, they all do it. Patrick, Johnny and Chief. Plus any guest they have on. I agree performers can exagerate their persona's like Stern or Dice, but thats truely how they think (its just amped up)

I listen to the show from time to time but I dont think its that good.I get sick of how they talk about how great they are, and there alway's trying to push ass lube on me so they can pay there bills

I got kind of burnt on NLO so I started looking for alternatives. So of the very same issues that people comment on. The real selling point on that show was the free factor.

Anyway check out Uhh Yeah Dude; 2 guys just B.S.'ing. No soapboxes or raciscm; I laugh every episode.
