My wife mentioned the other day that she wanted a new MP3 player for Mother's Day. She pulled out a Walmart ad that had the iPod Shuffle 1GB for $50. I immediately frowned upon that, since 1GB isn't very much space. Of course, having
previously owned a Zune, that was my preference. So, I picked up a Red 4GB Zune for her today. She didn't like the 30GB I had bought her last year, since it's a little big for using at the gym. She'll like the small size of this new one.
I'm still gonna replace the old one at some point. Just not a big priority right now. I do miss it, though. 30GB is very nice.
Yeah, no kidding. If the past is any evidence of the future, she'll rarely use the thing, anyway. Of all the other cheapie mp3 players I've bought in the past, they mostly remain unused. That's how I ended up keeping the 30-gigger in my truck...
