I was trying to help a co-worker setup her sync list, not everysong, just select songs, albums and folders and I could not figure it out. I am a bit dumb, but not that dumb. The help files suck also.

| I liked the old software, not a huge fan of the new one, but I haven't played with it enough to really know whether I like it or not. | |

And then just drag what you want to sync to the Zune icon. The software will create an auto sync association for just what you add manually. It will show it to the left of the artists pane.

You can then just add what ever you want manually w/out the Zune auto syncing anything. Remember, whenever you remove anything from the Zune software, it will remove it from your Zune. Auto sync or not. This was not the case in ver 1 of the software.

Wait a second, the last time I added stuff to sync it wasn't even in the Zune library, I think I dragged it directly from an open window to the little sync thing.. can't remember if that was in ver. 1 tho.

| Lame. That was my favorite part and why I never used iTunes back in the days. | |

I downloaded an on10.net video and tried to drag it to the Zune icon and no dice. I tried to drag it to the Zune software and then again to the Zune icon and it worked. It is just a two step process.
Funny... my Zune card is broken (at the time of this post, anyway)
