This happens to me occasionally: when I plug in my iPhone to iTunes when it has less than 20% (10%?) battery life it appears that iTunes drains the battery completely. I don't know why it does this. It's not a problem with the connection. Does that happen to any body else?

When dead, let sit for 30 minutes to an hour to drain fully.
Plug in, charge all the way up, and repeat the battery death cycle (don't charge it in between that time at all).
Now it should be properly conditioned.

For proper maintenance of a lithium-based battery, it’s important to keep the electrons in it moving occasionally. Be sure to go through at least one charge cycle per month (charging the battery to 100% and then completely running it down).

Personally I think that the 1st solar cell, motion phone (watches do it) will make a killing...

Join Date: Sep 2006 Location: Left Coast | Second post, bad etiquette, sorry..
However, I am posting my issue and how it was resolved:
In regards to my issue with losing all music/music & media content not loading. You will also notice that your apps won’t load either. No matter how many times you reset the phone. I believe it means that one of the apps is corrupted.
Use iTunes to remove all applications and then reset the phone. You may need to sync at least one app back to make the fix work.
Then clean up your library. Until 2.1 the updates would continue to stack in your library. I deleted everything from iTunes and moved it to a folder for storage. Then I downloaded new versions of all of my apps. Then I synced them a few at a time and tested them to ensure that they wouldn’t mess up my phone again….so far so good.
Thanks for the threat EP!!!
