I forgot about copy and paste, one of the features I wanted more than anything.
I though we were going to get that 4 updates ago.
Whaa happennn….? | |

I know that devs had it in one of their updates, and then it was gone with the next update. I'd like it too, especially for webpages.

I am more pissed about the lack of MMS. Come on, Ive been sending photos (and vids) to people for five years. This is a must have for me.

A few funny examples. I was at target and there was this little boy rocking this giant mullet! SNAP! A few seconds later, all my buddies are rolling around laughing. Another time, when I drove my SUV, there was this giant (fat) guy in this tiny little car. He had his seat leaned way back to make room for his gut, and still it barely fit. The best part was that he had some fast food RESTING on his belly, while driving. SNAP! A funny ass moment captured and shared.
I use it alot to share pics and vids of my daughter with my family. We weer at a petting zoo a few weekends ago, and I was sharing the photos with my parents who live in Utah while we were there. They LOVED it.
Having to email them would be a pain. MMS is just fast and easy. And not a feature that I can live without...
Has anyone seen the new HTC Touch Pro? Man, this phone looks crazy nice. Check it out: HTC Touch Pro

Cool, but I'd never use it. At least with emailing it, there's a visable thread of people talking back and forth. I can see with people not having mail on their phones though where it wouldn't be an option, but come on, get a goddamn phone that has a full functioning mail client!
No I totally get it though. I have received a MMS message from AT&T though now that you mention it, and it was annoying as crap. I remember saying "Get a goddamn phone that has email and email the picture, this isn't 1999." It was my brother too, who actually just bought an iPhone.

It is just us backward Americans that insist on a email address when everyone that has a phone has a phone number. It comes back to the fact we have computers where the rest of the world their phone is their primary communication tool. Whole businesses are run on phones in India.
It just goes to show you how arrogant Apple is that they don't include a core cell phone function...

This is an article that is prior to the 3G launch, but it talked about AT&T bringing the seldom used feature to the 3G phone, I guess so you can all send MMS messages to your poor friends in India who can't afford computers. Quote: |
Now, it seems, Apple and AT&T are getting ready to make sure that the iPhone 3G will have the ability to send those seldom-used MMS messages to other MMS-capable handsets on AT&T's network. An internal AT&T memo list MMS support as a feature of the iPhone 3G.
| Here's the whole, clearly misled, article. Maybe that means it will be in 2.1 or close.
SMS is enough for me, if I'm going to send a picture, I'm going to do it through email where I know the resolution will be the same when it's received. Poor tiny ass flip phones can't eff with my pictures yo.
