Application Wishlist

I always look for free applicaitons then debate spending $1 on an application that does exacly what I am looking for. This is right after I dropped $64 on a new game for my Xbox...go figure.

Anyway, this might be a good spot to post what you are looking for. If anyone knows about an application that may work please reply give a quick review on the application especially if it costs a few bucks.

I am looking for a free converter (units of measure--feet to meters, temperatures, etc...)

What concerned me was that it says it supports "most" common units...what if I want to convert an uncommon unit?

I don't have iTunes on this computer. Is that just a unit conversion app? Like 60m/s to mph?

I'd pass. Google does all that. Just search for "60m/s to mph" and it'll do the calc no probs.

I am anti-web app...it seems like whenever I need a particular application the browser decides to hang. A buck is a good deal in that light.

I didn't get it because I was worried that all it would be were pictures of units, and that scared me, or did it arouse me? I don't know. The point is, I'll try it out and let you know.

I want a clock/alarm app that lets you wake up to a iPod playlist. I love the iPhone alarm, best I've ever used, and made me get rid of my current alarm clock, but I'd like the option to wake up to songs damnit.

Monkey, I use my alarm set to ringtones...not a full song...but how long do you take to wake up?

I want the option to wake up to a random playlist, n'er the same song twice. I have a program for the mac that does that (fades it in too) and it's fantastic. Problem is, I'd much rather have it on the phone for the night stand.

I read that an AT&T rep mentioned that real MMS is on the near horizon for the iphone. That is the last hurdle for me to make the jump.
