Just got back from Best Buy and they are doing yet another sale on HD movies. No, it's not as good as their previous BOGO offering, but it saves you a bit of money nonetheless. Here's the deal:
This sale applies to ALL HDDVD and Blu-ray movies.
Buy any 2 HDDVD/Blu-ray movies, save $10 instantly.
Buy any 3 HDDVD/Blu-ray movies, save $20 instantly.
That's cheaper than Amazon even with their discount. I ended up picking up The Prestige and The Departed for $50. Not bad! I think you can mix and match HDDVD with Blu-ray too, but I'm unsure of that as I just bought BR.

Join Date: Sep 2006 Location: Hill Valley, 2015 Age: 25 | It may be slightly cheaper, but not by much depending on what movies you want to pick up. Unfortunately, I hate to wait for shipping. The free super saver shipping takes forever to get to me, and screw Amazon Prime. I don't order enough from there. Plus they have ALWAYS charged me salestax due to having a warehouse in state, regardless if items are shipped from there.
For comparison:
Best Buy Deal:
The Prestige - $30
The Departed - $30
Crank - $30
-Discount $20
Total= $70
Amazon:
The Prestige - $24
The Departed - $24
Crank - $28
- Discount $7.60
Total = $68.40
I'd rather buy it from BB as I'd have it now instead of in a few days. You're only looking at a couple of bucks.
