I think it is because HD-DVD hasn't released what maybe 2-3 titles since the new year... I have to say I have been pretty disappointed with the number of releases and have started to look at Blu-ray players or possibly a PS3.

No kidding. When Blu Ray is putting out 3x as many titles it only makes sense that they would be gaining ground.

I agree. I've seen far more new Blu-Ray titles than HDDVD.

Kind of unfortunate that they can't get more movies out but, I guess that's more because they don't have the studio support needed to pump out the numbers...

I'm not bummed so much as I'm saddened by the fact that the greed of the people in each camp as resulted in the consumers being screwed into buying two different players. Laaaame.

true, that does suck that many people had to double dip on players.. I almost did for some Universal titles that I want.

Yeah, it kind of sucks that there are two separate camps to go with. I love HD-DVD technology and I supported HD-DVD moreso and still am rooting for them but, I find myself buying more Blu-rays just because of my choices.

If HD-DVD can get the studio backing of another major studio, then I think they'll be good to go. Universal as their sole exclusive studio is not going to cut it. I really like the iHD technology and the stuff that the have implemented but, they just don't make enough of it to keep peoples interest!
