First of all, I moved this thread to the appropriate place.

Anyway, speakers or good quality speakers depend on your pricerange and sound preferences. Not to mention what other equipment (ie AV Receiver you have).

Give us a little more information and we'll definitely have some great recommendations to give you based on your information!!!

Cheers Guys!! Yea I got the Xbox 360 VGA cable and it has a red and white cable coming off if that helps. Also how do you get your Gamercard to come up at the bottom of your posts??

Sounds like your just getting into this sorta stuff. I would recommend a nice Onkyo Home Theater in a Box(HTB) You can get some great sound outta the $400 to $500 they offer at CC. If your a beginner its the best way to go. Speakers are all timber matched and your included reciever will be just what you need. You'll want to go optical though, is that port on the VGA cables? If you not a beginner I apoligize. I can provide links to the setup I'm talking about if your interested

So the VGA cable only has analog stereo output? Weird.

If you want 5.1 audio, you will need an optical cable to input into your receiver. A home theater in a box (HTIB) is a good way to get started for a nominal amount. Alternatively, if you want to spend a little more, you can go all different directions. We can help guide you in whatever direction you want to go.
