So I may give one of them a try. What do I have to lose right?

One question about setups is it really worth going with a 7.1 system? or should I just stay with a 5.1?
That looks like a great start. Here is another recommendation though. As far as the 5.1 vs. 7.1 it all depends on the room config. A 7.1 setup will not yield a huge improvement over a well setup 5.1 system. Especially seeing as there are currently not any 7.1 encoded movies yet. The QS series speakers are quad polar and they really throw out a diffuse sound which allows more placement options than a direct firing speaker. I personally have a 7.1 setup, but I have 2 rows of seating and find the 7.1 fills in the rear soundstage a bit better than 5.1. I opted to go with the QS4's in the rear however as they are not getting nearly as much duty as the sides, which saved me a little jing.

I would also look into a sub from either SVS or HSU. While I feel that Axiom makes great subs as well IMO SVS is a notch above. For the price you could purchase a PB12/2+ from SVS which would really rock.

I've heard nothing but good things about SVS and Hsu subs. I've also heard various models from both and they both rocked. I went with a Paradigm Servo 15 for my setup, but that's only because I didn't have too much room for much else (not that this beast is small!).

7.1 sources are just around the corner! I'll be stoked when they come out with one!

Anyway, to echo what Alter said, a well set up 5.1 set up can rival a 7.1 setup but, I think the 7.1 especially for me enables more flexibility on speaker placement and room setup. It was a pretty hefty boost in sound quality for me when I jumped from 5.1 to 6.1 and even from 6.1 to 7.1. YMMV, but 7.1 is definitely coming shortly!!!

I Recommend the Klipsch, They usually have great sound, And I just listened to the 3 piece set. 2 desk top speakers and a Sub, It could have powered a Club, I used to play my music on it when i was working at The Sharper Image. I'm pretty sure they have better models then the ones we had but those were supposedly the Cheap version.

Yeah Klipsch are nice speakers but I just can't get use to the horn type speakers.

Klipsch are great speakers. I personally am not a huge fan of them as I think horn loaded tweeters are a little harsh sounding. The nice thing about Klipsch's are they are stupid efficient. They will play insanely loud with very little power.
