Anyway, I just figured it'd be a neat idea to see what everyone else owns as far as HD contenct. I only have a HD DVD player for now, but my home theater will likely see the addition of a PS3 sometime in 2007. Post what you have if you like.
HD DVD's Owned:
Apollo 13
Batman Begins
Constantine
Corpse Bride
Doom
Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift
Goodfellas
Italian Job
Miami Vice
Mission Impossible III
Serenity
Slither
Superman Returns
Troy
Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory
World Trade Center

Everything else is being Netflixed right now, although if I didn't already own the 2-disc standard def of A Christmas Story I'd buy it because the picture is pretty good on the HD-DVD version, but the features are the same.

Best snippet from one of Rotten Tomatoes reviews of the film: It was so uncomfortable to watch this film, I felt like I was desperately holding back a bout of extreme diarrhea while having dinner with my girlfriend's folks for the first time.

Back on topic, I just watched The Rundown HDDVD a few hours ago (got it from FlixNet today). Man, I really enjoyed the movie! Mr. Johnson was pretty good in it, and you have to love Chris Walken. The whole tooth fairy bit had me rolling. The picture, I thought, was much better than the snippets I've seen of it on the DVD I own. The audio sounded much more clear than the DVD, especially the impact of the punches. Apparently, my SVS loves HDDVD.
And no, no one's list needs to be in alphabetical order. I simply skimmed over my HDDVDs in my dvd profiler.

I agree that the Rundown was a great movie. Far exceeded my expectations the first time I watched it.

| Aeon Flux had soooooo much more entertainment value to me than X-Men 3. There are a couple other of movies I hate as much as X3 but they don't come to mind because I block them from my memory.
The picture quality on Aeon Flux is outstanding. One of the reasons why I got the movie. I did enjoy the movie although some of it was a little too fantastical for my taste but, I did enjoy it nonetheless.
Yeah, The Rundown is a good movie too! My wife and I loved it when we saw it in theaters.

| I was one of the few that liked X3. I didn't follow the comic book that close though, so I wasn't as anal about the story line as a lot of others were. | | |
