| I saw my first rainbows!!! I was at a meeting last night and there were a couple of engineers giving a presentation. They had a tiny little Mitsubishi DLP projector. Someone walked in front of the screen and for some reason I saw him covered in rainbows. It was very odd. Then I looked towards the projector and saw the rainbows. I tried to reproduce the effect a couple of times and couldn't. I had never seen them before, but for some reason I saw them at that time. Maybe my eyes/mind were being lazy and I saw them, but once I focused up on trying to see them I couldn't?
Anyway, it was weird and interesting that I was able to see them. I imagine on that little portable projector the 3 color wheel wasn't spinning very fast and made it easy to see them.

| yeah, once you see them, I think you're always looking for them... that's kind of the problem I found with myself. It's starting to become a complete non-issue with the latest DLP's though! | |

| Haha.. I've never seen them on anything else before. Must been a combination of a bunch of random things really. I've never seen them on other projectors of my DLP TV so perhaps I'll never see them again. | |

The guy was trying to hook it up to the HDMI port and, despite me telling him there are no 360 HDMI cables, he seemed on a mission for a while. Once he realized this though it was easy sailing.

So much for Star Wars. | |

This was horrible technology before the faster color wheels came out. 720p only and this...ouch... ftp://ftp.extremetech.com/pub/extrem...ainbowClip.wmv
