So I downloaded the manual and checked the stats.
34.6 inches horizontally
21.6 inches depth-wise (its a CRT)
Weights 114.6 lbs
Unfornately, my current television stand is only about 30 inches horizontally.
So I'm in the market for a new one. Nothing too fancy. Something strong enough to support the television (with atleast two shelves).
Anyone have any suggestions as to where to look?

| Here is the one I have. I'm picking up a 30' widescreen Samsung HDTV early next year, I bought this one for that TV.
It ROCKS
EDIT-BTW, It's listed as $150, but I picked up mine for $70. Every time BB has a sale, this stand gets marked down.

| Another place to check is Ikea. They typically have a decent selection of stuff at reasonable prices. I had to build a stand myself since my TV had to fit into a pre-built area. Fun stuff! hehe. I'll post pics of it again soon. We lost them in the move to PGL. | |

We went to a furniture outlet and bought two end units from an entertainment center (evidently the middle pieces were damaged or these were overruns). They cost us $30 for each end. Then I built the center section around my TV's measurements, painted it and finished it, tied it all together. It's a pretty sweet little weekend project if you've got the time.

Wow, for $30, you couldn't build those end units yourself! The center unit looks very professional! What kind of arsenal of tools do you have? Are you a "New Yankee" type of guy?

| Dang Quo! I won't even bother posting my hack job after your picture!!
That looks awesome. All I needed was a riser for my tv. And it doesn't look as awesome as Quo's! Good work man!
